Ok, ok so this is it! I couldn’t let Michelle Obama’s Inaugural gown go un-blogged about! The First Misses looked absolutely resplendent in her creamy Jason Wu gown. While, I initially thought Michelle would wear a splashy hue, her off-white, asymmetrical silhouette, and elegant train was the perfect choice and floated along with her and across the dance floor very gracefully… And, I would like to point out, that in previous posts, SJS did predict the one-shoulder style – the shape was current and again, suited her shape in just the right way.
After numerous on-point campaign ensembles and the two lovely dresses the new First Lady donned on Tuesday, us style watchers can rest assured that we are in for a wonderful fashion slide show for the next four years – whether Michelle goes to the classic stand-bys of J.Crew, or works with independent designers she’s sure to make a style statement every time she makes an appearance.

Hi Jane, I agree with you 100% great choice.
You were right Jane!!! I think the Pres should appoint you Secretary of Style!!!! or Ambassador of Fashion!!!
The first couple looked fab but MAN does Mr. President need dance lessons!
I loved her dress!!! Boy she has great arms for a 1st lady! (or any lady for that matter)
The first family is so refined and classic. Loved it!
Its ok – I thought it was a little too Nancy Reagan circa the 1981 IB. BUT-Michelle Obama is beautiful and can pull anything off!
