		<description>You have perfectly pointed out that not every trend on the catwalk is meant for &lt;em&gt;everyone&lt;/em&gt;.  I agree that pleats aren&#039;t meant for the masses, however someone with a little tum would benefit from some high waist pants with zero pleating for a little subtle cinching (a look that is quite current)... The last thing a lady with an ample tummy and wide hips should wear are low waist trousers or jeans.  The low-slung looks will accentuate the wide parts and create an unpleasant &quot;muffin&quot; top.   Thanks for the comment!</description>

		<description>i don&#039;t know, jane.  pleats are not flattering on most women.  i don&#039;t care if they are the most happening thing on the runway or not.  they add bulk to the hip and stomach region, an area most women usually try to downplay.  they really only seem to work on ladies who are tall and thin with no curves.</description>
